Hello friends. I have been sharing my meditation practice on this website blog for the past couple of months. I have been going through a growth period with my Spirituality revolving around my rituals to support my centeredness and grounding.
I thought I would share tonight's bedtime session: 20min deep meditation with arising ego/fear/thoughts. When this would happen, I said, "not this [this is not me]... I am He/She [I am my higher self]." Then I Sang/chanted on "O" to connect/open the heart temple. What does ritual mean to you and how does it show up in your spirituality practice? Meditation, chanting, praying, etc. How does it help you? How often do you sit and quiet the mind to be able to hear the voice of silence?

I have been continuing my daily meditations, but not been motivated to blog... I needed a holiday. So, I am feeling the call to share again.

A friend an I were talking tonight and were discussing how complicated and thick the drama can get in the daily life. Why does this happen within our lives..? Within our relationships..? And, how we relate to ourselves? This lead to something another friend and teacher of mine, Garrett Walters, spoke of once. He expressed how this world is steeped in Control, Judgement and Punishment... when all we have to do is flip that and settle into Neutrality, Compassion and forgiveness. Simple, right? I am reading this book, Practical Astrology, and it's premise is cutting threw all of the need for analytical discussions and theorizing of the purpose of life or the what and why of the mind, and just get to the simplicity of how to do the work of, simply, waking up. It basically states, "pray" and tells you how. So, what do you pray for... or hold dear to your heart... and how does that manifest through your words? Studies of the constellation of Cancer, 21st of June- 22nd of July
Prayers within my higher self, my god, seated in the center of my head (pineal gland) to the Arch Angel Gabriel, to come and prepare, to heal, my body for me to become invisible. Why would I want to become invisible? Invisible to my enemies. Who are my enemies? My egos of judgement, anger-frustration, control are my personal strong ones. Why invisible towards my egos? So that they do not see me and affect me. If I am invisible to them, I am able to be set free and just watch them when they appear and not be attached/affected by them. After my prayers to Gabriel, I stand and honor each of the cardinal directions, North, East, South, West with the following salutation: "13,000 rays has the Sun, 13,000 rays has the Moon, 13,000 times may the enemies I have repent." (further details of prayer specifics available upon request) :) 7 Precious Gestures
Qi Facelift and self massage Connection to the Three DanTians and sending love and light vibrations throughout self and around the World and out to the stars. began class with a gift of Young Living essential oil: Sacred Mountain
Qigong, Shaolin 18 Lohan Hands: lifting sky nourishing kidneys separating waters carousel Tai Chi: Integral 9 form Closed with the Qi facelift and massage and sending light and love within us, around us and out into the world and beyond. Discussion: Pineal Gland and how to exercise and nurture it to support one's development of awareness/consciousness/wisdom and how it is a place for your higher self or soul to reside. A suggestion to exercise the pineal gland from my studies with Garrett Walters (see resources page). Sit in a comfortable chair that allows your spine and back to be straight. Place your feet flat on the floor imagine a grounding cord from your second chakra, your lower DanTian reaching to the center of the earth. The more grounded you are to this 3rd dimension, this Earth space, the more your higher self, awareness, consciousness will come home into your body. Next, bring your attention to the center of your head. Moving directly behind your eyes and in from your ears, locating the pineal gland. Place your focus inside the pineal gland. Create a room there, a safe place for you to go and just be still without thought. A safe house where you can observe the outer world, observe your life within that world. Decorate this room with your favorite chair to sit in, curtains around the windows, a fireplace or a carpet under your feet. Practice keeping your focus here throughout your meditation and into your daily routine. Allow this space within your pineal gland to become the balcony from which you observe the daily happenings of your life from or make it the captain's chair on the bridge of the USS Enterprise where you make all of your important decisions from within your higher self's consciousness. Part 1 of 3 involving the introduction of gestures 13-18 of the 18 Lohan Hands:
Lifting sky deep knee bend presenting claws caring mountains drawing knives rotating knees Concluded class with the Qi facelift and self message, radiating love and light throughout the body and out into the world. Shaolin Salute |
