I was on spring break last week and was blessed to visit a part of the country where the land met the sea. Here is a guided meditation of my experience.
"You are standing on the beach facing east. The sun is rising. The sky is turning from a dark indigo to a beautiful yellow and pink. Your feet are sinking into the sand. A gentle breeze is blowing. You take a deep breath, pause, and let it out slow and steady. To the left of you is the land, rolling beach into sand dunes... to the right of you is the ocean, roaring waves crashing into the shore. You sink deeper into the sand as the incoming surf encircles your feet and then retreats back to the source of its power, the collective strength of the whole, taking a part of the calm and peaceful land with it as some of the sand surrenders and is swept away into the sea." ~SAH
